Asparagras...Waste Not

This isn't really a recipe just a good neat tip I read yesterday.  Asparagrass,when you slice them, and the ends are hard and woody,save the woody parts cook separately,then puree them and use as a sauce over rice,potatoes. Thought this was good to share. RAS

I just got around to reading this.  I love asparagus, but only like eating the very tip ends and it does seem so wasteful.  I might give this a try down the road.  I'll have to think about it some more first though.  LOL
